Angela Prato is recognized for her beautiful and elegant Egyptian Style performances. She has dance professionally for 18 years and placed First Runner Up in 2007 in the Belly Dancer of the Universe contest and teaches in the Canton, Ohio area, where she is also a featured dancer in several restaurants and clubs. Angela has spent a lifetime studying dance, beginning at the age of 3. She has chosen to focus on Egyptian style of belly dance and has studied with studied with many master teachers with Lucy, Shareen El Safy and Ragia Hassan being her favorites. She is known for her classic and clean isolations, exquisite layering and fluid combinations and her signature Jewel. Angela has performed with many famous singers and bands in her career. One highlight of her belly dance journey was performing on stage with super star Lucy of Cairo. Angela has performed at countless parties, events, restaurants and clubs too numerous to list here. Besides Raks Sharki she is trained in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Flamenco and Polynesian.

Angela will teach Arabic Rhythms with drills and combinations that will be used taught in a choreography during the 4 hour workshop.
